whats the reason of requiring at least ez 4.3 for that extension? (Will it work at 4.2?)

Hello, Georg.

There will be an typical issue in early version. From technical manual: "when a user is granted permission to edit or delete his own comment. He will be able to see all the edit and delete buttons on the comment list, although he can not edit or delete all the comments."

This issue exists because the view cache in ezpublish is based on role.

If you don't give edit/delete permission to registered user to edit/delete himself's comment, then it will be ok.
