Published beta version of the eZSphinx extension.

Have been running the first version in test for a few days now. Everything seems to be working good so far. I will need to clean up some code and write a quick install guide before i can put it on public testing.

A demo of the streaming server integration is running here. This one is running on a limited wowza streaming server. But you should be able to see the difference from running the movie as http streaming. Try to skip forward in the movie while playing, you should see the playback starts instant from that point.

The latest version of the "eZ Publish database extension for Oracle", also known as eZ Oracle, adds support for the latest-and-greatest version of the eZ Publish CMS: 4.1

Full upgrade scripts are included for a smooth transition from previous versions.

The eZ Publish cluster mode is not supported with this release, but it will be again in the next one.

It can be downloaded here: http://projects.ez.no/ezoracle/downloads/ez_oracle_2_0/ezoracle_2_0_zip

Enjoy!

This extension is certified and is working with eZ Publish >= 4.1.

Credits go to Microblau and Mitsue-links, who greatly contributed to the development and creation of this valuable extension.

The first release of the gg Webservices extension is available.

It allows to:

  1. expose php functions as xmlrpc or jsonrpc webservices, using the same API used for creating soap webservices in the stock eZ Publish
  2. call external xmlrpc, jsonrpc or rest webservices, from either php or template code

More to come in the future!

I am happy to announce the eZ Oracle 1.8.1 release!

5 bugs have been fixed, and compatibility with eZ Publish 4.0.2 and 4.0.3 restored.

Please make sure to read with care the release notes and install/upgrade instructions.

In particular, when running upgrade scripts, use the initurlaliasmlid.php script that comes in the "patches" directory of the extension instead of the one that is part of the standard 4.0.2/4.0.3 installation

Refactored all code into a single ezpublish extension.

Even though this extension has been working fine on production for one year or so I decided to gave an alpha status and wait for your feedback.

If it is good then I will release a real stable version

Still home for Christmas holidays and with nothing to do after finishing compiling the 2.6.28 kernel?

Rejoyce! Now you can play around with the ggsysinfo extension, designed to give eZ Publish admins valuable extra insight into their running systems.

Example of a gui that can be developed with this extension

The zip is available for download at http://projects.ez.no/ezgeshi/downloads/ezgeshi_1_2_1_zip

The main highlights in this release are:

  • updated to GeSHi 1.8.1
  • rewritten the .ini syntax parser, with much improved detection of errors (such as extra whitespaces)

I am happy to announce the eZ Oracle Christmas Release!

After more than a year of work, versions of the extension corresponding to eZ Publish 3.9, 3.10 and 4.0 are finally generally available.

Lots of bugs have been fixed and performance has been tweaked to a great extent, too.

Please make sure to read with care the release notes and install/upgrade instructions that come with each version.

In particular:

  • eZ Oracle 1.6 is considered a stop-gap measure, as there are known bugs in eZ Publish 3.9.5 running on Oracle, and version 3.9.6 has not been released (it will most likely never be). Please upgrade at least to eZ Publish 3.10.1 if you plan to use an Oracle database with eZ Publish 3.
  • The "eZ Publish clustering" mode requires some patches to the eZ Publish kernel files for versions 3.10.1 and 4.0.1. All the relevant patches are included within the eZ Oracle extension

The first 1.0 version is now available in the Dowload section

The initial version of the extension has been made available for download/tryout on SVN.

The module dev is done, the beta-1 release is available in the "Downloads" section

Debian users, please read the README.DEBIAN first.

I released the first beta version of feZ Meta Data, a new extension providing meta data managment.

There is now a "My profile" link at the right top which leads you to your own user profile, with a list of all projects you are leader and member of.

The 1.0 code for the enhancedezbinaryfile type has been released.

Today I released the first version of the siteaccess() operator
