We are proud to announce that we are done with the completion of a plug-in for putting static content onto a Content Delivery Network like Amazon's Cloudfront service.

What is eZPDFViewer?

eZPDFViewer is an ezpublish extension that allows pdf to be transformed as flash files for visualisation without downloading the whole pdf file .
eZPDFViewer uses an executable binary pdf2swf provided by swftools (http://www.swftools.org/). You will have to install it on your server
and set the path to the pdf2swf binary in eZPDFViewer.ini

- When a pdf file is uploaded the contributor can generate a flash viewer for it
- Redefines the ezbinaryfile.tpl (edit mode) to allow users to store pdf files and generate flash previewer.
We just released version 2.0 of NovenINIUpdate. This is a global refactoring release with support of Cluster Mode. A CLI script is now provided.

nTags extends eZ publish's keyword feature. Instead of a simple text box you get checkboxes for predefined tags (keywords), and an additional text box for free tags. You may also mass apply tags in content view.
I've created a small Yahoo Pipe which translates non-english blog entries into english specifically for RSS feeds.
A new Community Documentation initiative has been started, the idea is to
better coordinate documentation efforts in the community for eZ Publish on
eZPedia.org, API, ez.no/doc, articles and future FAQ / Getting started section
on upcoming community portal.

The metakeywords are now treated like "ezkeywords" and will be additionally stored in the ezkeywords table.
eZ Feed Parse provides a template fetch function allowing to access to data published in any RSS or ATOM feed. It uses eZ Component Feed, so the fetch function is able to access to all supported format by ezcFeed.

- adds the upgrade script for eZ Publish up to 4.1.3
- corrects a couple of bugs, one of which prevented the installation using 'fully manual' mode
Please note:
the mechanism used to derive the names of sequences for tables that are created by extensions has been changed in this release (sequences are the oracle-equivalent of self-incrementing fields in mysql). Take care if you are upgrading from a previous version and have installed any extension that uses persistent objects based on custom tables.
The new release boasts one big improvement: support for WSDL descriptions of remote soap services via usage of the php native SOAP extension!
The proxy module is now working and it has gained support for policy limitations on remote servers.
Other minor changes include future-proofing: naming conflicts with php 5.3 new reserved keywords have been fixed.
