Permissions issue when assigning with limitation

If permission is given to a role to access the bypass_recaptcha function, and that role is assigned to a user/group with limitation, this function will not work.

The role must be assigned without limitation in order for this to work.

Hi Geoff

Can you let me know what version of eZ you are using and what if any error messages are displayed? Also what kind of limitation causes the issues?

Hi Bruce,

This was built on ezpublish 4.0.1, and the role was limited to the subtrees of Content & Media sections. The issue was occurring when editing existing content in the Content subtree in the admin interface. No errors - the recaptcha appears if a key is available.
