This datatype allows to choose a language among the languages installed in your instance of eZ publish, via a single choice drop down menu.
gX Mini Language fills a gap in the native datatypes of eZ publish: a datatype as a list box (single choice) filled with different languages installed on your instance of eZ publish.
This drop down list can be automatically translated into the language of your siteaccess with a simple modification of the supplied templates. The contents of the list is automatically updated when the languages installed in your site change. Supports the collection of information.
This datatype can be useful when you must assign a "preferred language" to a user, for example, which could be subsequently used to communicate with him directly in the right language (via a newsletter for example).
No setup is required for activation of the extension, which installs very easily and is immediately operational.
Finally, gX Mini Language is free, under the GNU GPL v2.0 license, and requires your eZ publish only (version 4.1 or higher).
