The issue of modifying content classes with large number of objects is a huge issue - you lose the flexibility because you simply can not edit the classes due to timeouts. Once this goes project forward I suggest that this is built into the default distribution.

Hello,
I also think this extension should be included in the default eZ Publish code.

I run some huge web sites for my customers and we have to run a dedicated php cli script for adding and removing attributes, now I'm going to implement this extension to streamline the operations.
